A fun evening with a great performer.
This was my second time seeing Brad Paisley live, and the first time in eight years. I'm not much of a follower of 'modern' country music, but of the more recent names in the category, I put Brad up near the top. He's an excellent live performer, has a great personality, and knows how to jam on guitar, in styles ranging from Chet Atkins to Eddie Van Halen. This show was quite a "get" for Bemidji, an out-of-the-way summer resort town that is the site of many summers of my childhood. They've only fairly recently started acquiring major concerts there, of which Paisley is the biggest name so far. The Sanford usually hosts relatively smaller events, like trade shows, A Prairie Home Companion and Alice Cooper. This was a full-scale arena production, much more elaborate than anything that's played the venue before, with the possible exception of Blue Man Group a couple of years ago (but Brad's stage was definitely bigger). All of which would mean nothing if the music, and the quality of performance, wasn't up to snuff...but it was. Not that I was surprised--Brad knows how to work a crowd, and isn't afraid to engage fans one-on-one, as when he came into the audience while peeling off a lengthy guitar solo, or when he gifted a young fan with his signed guitar just offstage. I've never met Paisley, so I can't say if his graciousness is an 'act', but I doubt it is...he feels genuine, and that adds a lot to the show itself. One thing that I didn't care for was the addition of THREE opening acts, two too many in my opinion. Not that they were bad--they weren't; but the ticket said 7pm and Brad didn't take the stage 'til nearly 9:20. Of the opening acts, Chase Bryant (the middle one) was best, and really got the crowd going with a perfect rendition of John Mellencamp's classic "Pink Houses"; second-billed Dustin Lynch seemed to be popular with many in the audience but his stuff just struck me as kind of...blah. Too many of his songs sounded like each other for me. He does have a good personality, and this really came out when he and Brad engaged in a prank involving a cell phone later during Paisley's set. But otherwise, he really didn't do it for me. This was Brad's evening, and thankfully, he delivered in spades. Altogether, it was a fine show, worth the two-hour drive from home, and I'd go see Brad again, easily.

Brad Paisley was awesome!!
The show I went to was Brad Paisley and Dustin Lynch. The show was ok but whoever was running the spotlight was not doing that great of a job with lighting up the artists. Also it seemed like the artists couldn’t hear themselves very well were the kept playing with there ears. I do like that it is a small venue so you have a good seat anywhere.

Brad was killin it!
He put on a great show, had some folks I’ve never heard of there but they seemed alright. Not a fan of new country music so I’m glad brad played some old ones.

The Brad Paisley concert was amazing!
We drove all the way from Minneapolis to Bemidji to see the Brad Paisley concert and it was so well worth the drive. The entire show was a class act, including the bands who came out before him. Our seats were awesome, as we were in the first and second elevated rows right off the front of the stage, so there was no one standing in front of us. Brad is such an amazing performer and the entire show was right on schedule and well-organized with no gaps in time or songs. He is such an awesome guitarist and it was a very enjoyable evening!

Fantastic Paisley Experience!
My sisters and I bought these tickets for our parents. They loved the show, and it was a great value- they got to see two up-and-coming artists before Brad Paisley, and they loved the whole show.

Brad Paisley Weekend Warrior Tour
This was my first concert at the Sanford Center, and I really enjoyed it. It was one of the few concerts that seemed organized and under control. The opening acts for Brad Paisley were all good enough to be headliners themselves. Dustin Lynch was especially good, but I was really surprised by Chase Bryant, who I hadn't known before.

Braid Paisley concert
The Brad Paisley concert was GREAT! So much energy from all the preformers was fun. It was the last show of the tour and they were having a blast. Dustin Lynch, Chase Bryant & Lynsey Ell all put on a fantastic show. Would definitely see them all again.

Never a dull moment
Always a great show. Well worth the drive. Seeing the family leave the next morning with the guitar still wearing the huge smiles was great.
