Event of the Year
I took my wife and son to see Journey/Def Leppard at SunTrust Park in Atlanta. The venue was great, entry was easy and fast. There were all kinds of staff on hand to help out and the concessions were fabulous. The guest group at the beginning were the Pretenders. Chrissie and the guys put on a great opening and got the crowd ready for Journey, As always Journey had the place rocking. The energy they brought sparked all through the crowd. They were an awesome lead in to Def Leppard. As I had heard before Def Leppard took the show to a new level. They kept the energy going and showed what true artists they were. Both Journey and Def Leppard were phenomenal. My wife and son are both still dancing and singing and smiling. It was an awesome experience.

The Journey & Def Leppard concert at SunTrust Park in Atlanta was fantastic! Probably one of the best I've been to in a very long time. A must see concert!

Great Stadium Show !! Journey surprised me, Pretenders were awesome, Def Leppard sound not to good, mix was disappointing but band was impressive.

Def Leppard Rocks!
My 9th time to see Def Leppard and 3rd time for Journey. Unfortunately the sound when Journey was up was not so great. But Def Leppard rocked it like always! As long as they're touring, I'll be at a show!

The sound at Suntrust Park is terrible!
The new Suntrust Park has terrible sound. That was very disappointing for these 3 great bands. I am recommending only because these 3 bands are great and they don't come around that often.

Def Leppard's longevity is all the more surprising given their debaucherous origins. The band's longest-standing members — singer Joe Elliott, bassist Rick Savage, and drummer Rick Allen — met as teenage secondary-school students in Sheffield, England. They soon found themselves swept up in the late-1970s wave of British metal that included Iron Maiden and Motorhead.
Year after year, No. 1 album after No. 1 album, they've survived all manner of rockstar antics over the course of their career through luck, fortitude, and good choices. When Allen lost his left arm after crashing his Corvette in 1984, the band never considered replacing him. After joining the band during the recording of 1982's Pyromania, guitarist Phil Collen quit booze, went vegetarian, and began studying martial arts. Today, at 61 years old, he gives a new definition to the term "dad bod" (dude is ripped). The final puzzle piece, Vivian Campbell, signed on after the 1994 death of original guitarist Steve Clark. This current lineup has endured together for a quarter of a century, longer than the entire lifespan of lesser bands.
As seen throughout 2018's 30th-anniversary tour, the members of Def Leppard remain in peak form and the band is a live-performance powerhouse.
