Foreigner, Whitesnake, and Bonham were spectacular
The 4-star rating applies to the venue. The bands would get 4.5 stars, mostly because they don't change their setlist, which is a little disappointing. Foreigner, being the incredible band they are, brought down the house thanks to the great bassist and their lead singer, Kelly Hansen, whose humor and energy made a sweltering day much more enjoyable! Mick looked old and tired, but his guitar play was still pretty epic! Whitesnake came out rocking hard and full of energy, and David Coverdale managed to still hit some great screams, despite his age and the heat! And the opener featuring Jason Bonham finally doing Stairway to Heaven among his other Led Zeppelin covers really started off the show with a bang!

Awesome concert
All 3 bands were excellent, but Whitesnake takes the prize for most ROCKIN. After all these years they are still killing it- Joel Hoekstra and Reb Beach are one helluva rock and roll road show. Mr. Coverdale sounds fantastic. If you get a chance to see this tour, GO. Foreigner is killer, Jason Bonham's Led Zep Evening is rockin, I highly recommend this show to all who can attend!

Foreigner
This band still sounds as good as I remember. They have an awesome stage show well worth the 2hr stand in line due to rain delay. Was disappointed with Whitesnake. The lead singer doesn't have the voice he once had and the stage presents lacked energy . Would have been better to have let Bonham perform instead of cancelling him due to the rain delay.

Amazing show!
The show was great, they sound the same as they did 40 years ago! Shocking that the lead singer’s range was still in tact! Wonderful energy & overall great time!!

Foreigner was awesome!
We had tickets for Jason Bonham, Whitesnake and Foreigner. Due to a rain delay, Jason Bonham didn’t play and Whitesnake started their show before everyone got into the venue. So we missed 2/3 of the show waiting in slow lines trying to get in. Probably won’t be back to this venue

Foreigner/Whitesnake
The bands were great and the amphitheater itself is an awesome venue. The policies and management of the Ascend is awful. The most mismanaged event I’ve ever been to. This seems to be the norm for the Ascend Amphitheater.

Waited in line an hour
I’ve attended Ascend on many occasions. This time was not the best. I paid money to see, Jason bonham, whitesnake, AND Foreigner—only saw foreginer. I don’t know what happened, but we waited in line well over an hour Just to get thru the gates. Don’t know what ascend did differently this time, but I was not impressed. Paying 13.25 for a 24 oz beer isn’t the best either. Outside of that, Foreigner put on a great show!

Audio and video streams of FOREIGNER's hits are approaching 15 million per week.
With more Top 10 songs than Journey and as many as Fleetwood Mac, FOREIGNER also features strongly in every category in Billboard's "Greatest of All Time" listing. At times, the band's weekly catalog sales have eclipsed those of Led Zeppelin, AC/DC, the Rolling Stones, the Who, Def Leppard, Van Halen, Aerosmith, and most of their Classic Rock peers (Source:MusiConnect). FOREIGNER's catalog sales were recently celebrated in Business Insider as hitting the Top 40 among the Best Selling Music Artists of All Time.
FOREIGNER's founder is Songwriters Hall of Fame member Mick Jones, a visionary maestro whose stylistic songwriting, indelible guitar hooks, and multi-layered talents continue to escalate FOREIGNER's influence and guide the band to new horizons. Jones reformed the band after a 2002 hiatus and selected lead singer Kelly Hansen to help write an inspired new chapter in the history of FOREIGNER. One of rock's greatest showmen, Hansen is among the most respected, consummate professionals in rock and roll. With a 40-year career that spans almost every area of music, from the role of lead vocalist to producing and engineering, Hansen has led FOREIGNER into the digital age while inspiring a whole new generation of fans.
FOREIGNER's lineup also includes noted Dokken bassist Jeff Pilson, Michael Bluestein on keyboards, guitarist Bruce Watson, Chris Frazier on drums and guitarist Luis Carlos Maldonado. An unprecedented new level of energy led the group to a re-emergence of astounding music that speaks to FOREIGNER's enduring popularity.
FOREIGNER recently announced the beginning of their Farewell Tour on national television. The tour will commence on July 6th, 2023 in Atlanta, GA and is expected to take two years or so to complete. The goal is to visit all the cities where the band has played since its reformation in 2004.
