Imagine Dragons made me a Believer
I'm a veteran concert go-er--I've seen many big names over the past 40 years and I have to admit I'm not a fan of very many of today's bands. Imagine Dragons caught my attention when I saw them perform "Radioactive" live during an awards show. That performance made me check out more of their music and I liked what I heard. When I found out they were unexpectedly coming to my local venue, I knew I had to get tickets for my family to check them out. We were drawn in from the first note. Dan Reynolds is energetic, humble and fun to watch. He genuinely seems to care about the audience. The show was high energy and uplifting. They played every song that the audience would want to hear live, and didn't make the audience beg for an encore. I would definitely go see them again if they come to our town again, but I bet their next tour will not include 20,000 seat arenas--they will most likely be selling out huge stadiums instead. Good for them, they deserve it and it couldn't happen to a nicer group of musicians.

Imagine Dragons are not to be missed!
What a wonderful concert! Imagine Dragons put on Such a big show! We could not afford the floor seats that we wanted, so we ended up about 20 rows off the floor and were worried that we might not 'get into' the concert because of the distance. Fortunately we were wrong! Dan Reynolds pulled the entire audience (the full arena) right into the concert. He went out into the crowd, running up and down aisles giving high fives, and the entire band moved to a second location in the arena to perform an acoustic set. The pyrotechnics and all the visuals were fabulous, and the music was awesome! Can't wait to see them again!

This is THE concert to go to. Best concert! These guys are so genuine and keep the place hopping until the end! Honestly one of the best concerts I have seen. We have been to M5, Pink, Ed Sheeran, Katie Perry and Taylor Swift. Only Taylor Swift give these guys a run for best show. They beat out all others hands down. My husband said it best. “It’s like they invited 50k of their closest friends to their house and put on a concert for them”. The best! Doesn’t hurt that Dan has his shirt off most the time :)

Imagine Dragons LOVE confetti
This was a pretty good show! I will preface this review and say that I have been to over 20 concerts and a handful of festivals so I've seen a lot of shows. The lead singer Dan Reynolds had no shirt on the entire time, he was very toned and muscular. You won't hear any ladies complaining. The stage was incredible, they had what looked like levels of the stage and the guitar players jammed out up there a couple times. There were large video screens behind the stage, bigger than I've ever seen, and I reallllllly appreciated that because I don't have the best vision. We could see the band members on the screen if it was too hard to see them on stage. The songs were great, mostly a greatest hits playlist. There was only one song I didn't know and one cover song. They released SO MUCH confetti, it was incredible. They also released big balloons that were so much fun to play with. Their lighting was great, my only suggestion would have been have someone from the sound team fix the muffled sound of Dan. They played for under two hours, but it was a great show. Such great energy from the band. I loved their small acoustic set in the middle of the venue, that was amazing. I touched Dan as he walked through the crowd to get to the acoustic stage.

Beyond Impressive
After reading other reviews of Imagine Dragons' performances, I had high expectations. Those were all exceeded, and exceeded emphatically. The performance kicked off like a slow-lit fuse exploding with energy. A dull background beat that lingered until the band appeared and the music slowly rose in pace and anticipation, blossoming into full rhythmic paced "Radioactive." I wondered if they would play hits of their past two albums and that question was answered immediately. In addition to "Radioactive," the band played "It's Time," "Demons," "Shots," "Amsterdam" and "I Bet My Life," to name a few. They also did a cover of The Police classic hit "Every Breath You Take." Crowd interaction was awesome, they even walked throughout the arena high-fiving fans allowing some selfies and then performed at an alternate stage on the rear part of the stage (FOH) giving the back of the arena a better view for a moment. The Audio-Video and lighting were exquisite, too. Confetti blew multiple times, always as an exclamation point and very well timed. Then balloons dropped and another level of fun began as the crowd bounced these giant inflated spheres around the arena. The show is family friendly, and I was actually shocked at the number of children in attendance, but considering the bands content I think its perfectly suitable for youngsters. I was on the floor, row 7, and I think the show was worth more than I paid, it was amazing.

Wow!
First let me start with what an awesome job Grace Vanderwaal did opening for ID. She is so talented.. the costumes and stage were set up adorably for her performance. Imagine Dragons came out and killed it! Love the effects (confetti, balloons, etc.). Glad they performed a few songs on the back stage so others got to experience them closer.

Awesome band, poor venue
The guys were great and Dan Reynolds was on fire--energetic and larger than life. However, the acoustics at the Colonial Life Center are awful. I also did not prefer that so many kids attended (6-12 yr olds) Can you not afford a babysitter? One thing that would have improved the experience was if the band verbally engaged with the audience. Dan rarely mentioned the fact that he was in Columbia and really did not say much to us but other than that they were electrifying. I am also glad that they refined their show a bit since I saw them in Charlotte. The visuals and line up were a bit different.
What happens in Vegas doesn’t always stay in Vegas, and Imagine Dragons are living proof. Named Billboard’s Breakthrough Band of 2013, the alt-rock foursome has quickly become the biggest Vegas band since The Killers, rising to international fame with hits like “It’s Time” and “Demons.” Propelled by their inventive mix of acoustic and electronic elements, 2012 debut Night Visions peaked at No. 2 on the Billboard 200 with three Top 40 singles including “Radioactive,” which spent more than one consecutive year on the Billboard Hot 100. Some things belong in Vegas, but when it comes to live music, some secrets are too good to keep – fans looking for a little piece of Sin City can skip the plane ticket and catch Imagine Dragons LIVE in concert on the 2013 Night Visions Tour.
Following a string of independently released EPs, Imagine Dragons hit their stride in 2012 with the Continued Silence EP, featuring the double-platinum single “In Time.” After a series of lauded late-night talk show performances, the band returned to the studio to record their major label debut with Alex da Kid, Grammy award winning producer behind B.o.B’s “Airplanes” and Eminem and Rihanna’s “Love the Way You Lie.” The result, 2012’s Night Visions, featured a blend of raw and synthetic sounds that proved a success, launching the band to the top of the Billboard Rock and Alternative charts. Standout single “Radioactive” was dubbed “biggest rock hit of the year” by Rolling Stone, and the song’s surreal music video was nominated for the Best Rock Video award at the 2013 MTV Video Music Awards.
