Journey was awesome!
Loved the beautiful screen displays they had. It was so bright and clear. I was singing way into the night on the ride home.

Shell of itself.
Very disappointed with Journey. Def Leppard killed it and then Journey came out with bad sound mix and lead singer could not come close to matching range and dynamics of Steve Perry. Seemed like shouting as opposed to singing. Left early to get away from the drone. Venue itself is great.

Def Leppard-Journey Rocks On
So much talent on one stage! Amazing! The pouring rain did not diminish anyone’s enthusiasm for the show.

Def Leppard should have been headliner.
Since Journey and Def Leppard share the headliner spot, they alternate which one opens. Def Leppard opened the night we attended. They played all the favorites with an amazing drum solo. Journey’s show was less impressive. They chose to play a piano medley of big hits and full length unknown songs. The audience sat down several times.

Journey Rocked The House
Wow! A step back into time. Journey sounded great! I kept closing my eyes and just listening and the lead singer sounds just like Steve Perry. I would venture to guess that if they brought Steve Perry back (as much as I think that would be cool), he couldn’t sing the songs as good as this guy can! If you ever were a Journey fan...dont’miss this show!

The music was good, but I grew up with Steve Perry as the lead. I felt with the replacement singer I was listening to a knock off Journey. The lead sounds just like Steve, His voice is great, just visually weird.

Def Leppard was amazing as usual!
Had so much fun while Def Leppard played, then Journey came on and was ok. Lots of instrumentals, not as much vocals and of course, their music isn't as high energy as Def Leppard, so I wish Journey would have played 1st.

Def Leppard for the 4th time!
I had the most fulfilling day yesterday! Everything from playing chase with a crotch rocket and an older Firebird T-Top through the freeways of Milwaukee to lucking out and getting the most amazing seat (26 row dead center) to see one of my favorite bands. Rick Allen is one of the Most inspirational people in the world to me! A nice way to start my 5 day staycation!

Def Leppard sold the show!
As much as I love Journey and went to see them they weren't as upbeat as Def Leppard leaving them to steal the show.

Journey at Summerfest
Awesome show by Journey. But section 20 seats were stated to be covered, but it rained for 20 minutes during Def Leppard
Journey in Concert
As the original legends of arena rock, few bands in existence put on a show quite like Journey. Anchored by singer Arnel Pineda's thrilling vocals and Neal Schon's unstoppable guitars, the band continues to show fans, both old and new, exactly how it's done as they tear through marathon sets of classics like "Don't Stop Believin'" and "Open Arms." After a short break from their relentless tour schedule, they're primed to blow minds again in 2014, pairing up with Steve Miller Band for select dates that are sure to be the stuff of classic rock legend for years to come.
Journey Background
San Francisco-born Journey is the quintessential arena rock band. Assembled in 1973 from the ashes of Santana and Frumious Bandersnatch, the band has since gone through a number of line-up changes — only stalwart guitarist Neal Schon has been with every incarnation. Despite a rotating roster, the band has sold 47 million albums in the US, and is consistently named one of the ten best American rock bands in history. While the '70s and '80s provided them with the most commercial success, their current manifestation with Filipino singer Arnel Pineda has given them truly global breadth.

"This was an amazing two-hour boogie with Journey at their best! Lead guitarist Neal Schon's tenacity on the guitar was incredible!"
