I have seen Journey 3 times before, I was a little disappointed as were the other 5 people in my party. The sound had a lot of feedback to it - you could hear the guitar, not the singer so much. It seemed like the set was really short compared to the other band that played. I love Journey, but it wasn't their best show.

Journey & Def Leppard
Def Leppard performed first and was awesome with high energy which was unfortunate for Journey. They should have went first because the energy left when Def Leppard left. Journey played well. It just seemed to flow backwards with Def Leppard going first.

Def Leppard Killed It. Journey, not so much.
Def Leppard was awesome, sounded great. Journey, on the other hand my want to look at hiring a new sound man. There was too much drums and base which led to a lot of distortion. Some songs sounded OK and others were unrecognizable. The lead vocalist (Steve Perry's replacement) sounded good, when you could hear him. Four stars because Def Leppard was SO good.

Journey/Def Leppard 2018
I came to see Journey but I must say Def Leppard was just as good of a show. This is a MUST SEE event!! Arnel Pineda is AMAZING as frontman for Journey and they did all the hits you want to hear.

JOURNEY WAS GREAT!
REALLY ENJOYED THE SHOW. THOUGHT THEY COULD HAVE PLAYED LONGER. NEVER SEEN A CONCERT THAT HAD CREDITS AT THE END INSTEAD OF AN ENCORE. JOURNEY PLAYED ALL THEIR BIG HITS. VERY ENJOYABLE SHOW!

Great show Def Leppard - Journey Sucked
I went to see Journey and was shocked at how awful they were. Horrible sound quality, actually painful. Couldn’t understand most of what they said. Band was loud that Arnel was screaming and we still could hear him singing. Major disappointment. However Def Leppard put on an amazing show. I left a fan.

Too Loud
While Journeys lead singer is no doubt a “voice-double” for Steve Perry; its just NOT the same. Also, the music was so loud that it distorted the sound and the songs lyrics were quite hard to interrupt.

I went to see Journey AND Def Leppard, Journey was just ok, although I would've preferred to see Steve Perry. The new guy was ok, sounded like Steve Perry, it just wasn't as good as I expected. They didn't play enough of Journey's hit songs and it wasn't even good enough for an encore. Def Leppard however, was the bomb!!!
Journey in Concert
As the original legends of arena rock, few bands in existence put on a show quite like Journey. Anchored by singer Arnel Pineda's thrilling vocals and Neal Schon's unstoppable guitars, the band continues to show fans, both old and new, exactly how it's done as they tear through marathon sets of classics like "Don't Stop Believin'" and "Open Arms." After a short break from their relentless tour schedule, they're primed to blow minds again in 2014, pairing up with Steve Miller Band for select dates that are sure to be the stuff of classic rock legend for years to come.
Journey Background
San Francisco-born Journey is the quintessential arena rock band. Assembled in 1973 from the ashes of Santana and Frumious Bandersnatch, the band has since gone through a number of line-up changes — only stalwart guitarist Neal Schon has been with every incarnation. Despite a rotating roster, the band has sold 47 million albums in the US, and is consistently named one of the ten best American rock bands in history. While the '70s and '80s provided them with the most commercial success, their current manifestation with Filipino singer Arnel Pineda has given them truly global breadth.
