The Pioneer Center staff and volunteers have been specially trained to assure that patrons can utilize the aids installed to accommodate any accessible needs. If you have special requirements, by all means contact the building at 775.686.6600 as far in advance as possible, so that they might be better prepared to meet your particular needs. HEARING ASSIST SYSTEM Patrons with hearing difficulties are encouraged to use the Centers headset system. Wireless, lightweight headsets are available at no cost to those who need hearing assistance. The headsets may be picked up at the coat check area on the main floor. To obtain a headset, a drivers license or major credit card will be required and will be returned upon receipt of the equipment at the close of the performance. WHEELCHAIR SPACING WITH COMPANION SEAT NOTE: Patrons cannot be transferred out of wheelchairs unless they are capable of exiting the theatre without assistance. Accessible locations for patrons with wheelchairs are available. Seating for one accompanying patron is available next to a wheelchair space. Additional guests in your party will be seated as near as possible. LIMITED MOBILITY SEATING Limited mobility seating is available for patrons who cannot easily access seats in the middle of rows, or those who use walkers, crutches, etc. RAMP ACCESSIBILITY Wheelchair ramp accessibility is available for the orchestra level only. ADA parking spaces are located near wheelchair ramps. Parking spaces are located on State Street near Virginia. WHEELCHAIR ACCESSIBLE RESTROOM FACILITIES All restrooms can accommodate wheelchairs and are accessible from either the Exhibit Hall or Orchestra Level Lobby. AUTOMATIC ARTICULATED DOORS Push-button operated doors are located on either set of main doors to the theatre.
