What payment types are accepted?

The Box Office is cashless. The only accepted methods of payment are EFTPOS, Visa, MasterCard & American Express. Ticketmaster Gift Cards are also accepted.

What are the parking options at State Theatre, Sydney?

Our preferred Car Park is located at the Queen Victoria Building (QVB). The entry to the car park is via York Street, with the option to self-park or utilize the valet parking service. Please present your parking ticket at the Theatre Manager Office to validate your parking for a discount rate of $12 during weeknights (entry after 5pm) and weekends. Is there accessible seating?

Wheelchair and disabled seating through the State Theatre. Call 1300 446 925 OR 02 8272 2700 for bookings. Due to heritage restrictions the State theatre currently has no hearing loop or disabled toilet within the theatre. Access to the State Theatre is on Market Street with seating on ground level.

What are the general rules of State Theatre, Sydney?

Due to heritage restrictions, no standing or dancing is permitted in the Mezzanine or the Dress Circle.

Are children allowed?

All persons entering the auditorium must hold a valid ticket. Exceptions may be relevant for a designated children
