The Rose on Tour
K-pop soft-rock quartet The Rose burst onto the scene with their first single, "Sorry," in 2017 and have been gaining worldwide fans and accolades ever since. After a slew of successful singles, the Seoul-based four-piece released their first full-length album, Heal, in October 2022. It's also the first release since the band took a two-year break while its members completed mandatory military service in Korea.
Known for their emotive power ballads and singer Kim Woo-sung's powerful, raspy vocal style, they've amassed countless fans and were named one of Billboard's most promising Korean pop bands when they debuted.
After leaving an unfavorable record deal following a lawsuit, they signed to Transparent Arts in 2022, which works to amplify Asian culture on a global scale through marketing and distribution. As a result, the band are embarking on a massive Heal Together world tour that brings them to North America, South America and Europe. Grab your tickets today to join fellow The Rose fans, known as "Black Roses," to see these rising stars perform live.
The Rose Live in Concert
Keyboardist Dojoon and bass player Jaehyeong met in the early 2010s when they were busking on the streets in the Hongdae neighborhood of Seoul. They met drummer Hajoon soon after when they were practicing in the same rehearsal space, and finally recruited lead singer Woo-sung, whom they had met through a mutual friend. They soon began writing their own material and posted videos of themselves busking on YouTube, which became hugely popular and amassed millions of views.
The quartet released their first commercial single, "Sorry," in 2017, an emotive power ballad that has been viewed on YouTube 25 million times and counting. They signed to South Korean record label J&Star Company, which released their first singles, but ended up parting ways with them in 2021.
Despite The Rose's tremendous commercial success, the group was forced to take a hiatus in 2020 so the band members could complete a mandatory Korean military service. They returned reinvigorated in 2022, releasing their debut full-length album, Heal, and announcing a new record deal with Transparent Arts and a multi-continent world tour. The album features the lead single, "Childhood," a raw and expressive track that laments the passage of time and cautions listeners not to get bogged down by regrets.
