Adam Hunter was born and raised in New York City, where he enjoyed a decorated career as a high school wrestling champion. His love of competitive fighting segued into a career in comedy when he began hosting a hilarious podcast about mixed martial arts and serving up humorous commentary about MMA matches on Twitter. Eventually his work won over the MMA community and earned him a gig as head writer for the annual MMA Awards, where his combination of fighting and comedy experience made him uniquely suited to both honor and make fun of the competitors. In addition to his work with MMA, Hunter is a sought-after stand-up master who has appeared on Jay Leno, Chelsea Lately, and Last Comic Standing. When he’s not entertaining troops in the Middle East and Africa, Hunter can be found cracking up stateside audiences with his hilarious shows at comedy clubs across the country.
