Aerosmith was great but need a new opener
It's been 2 or 3 years since Aerosmith performed in Cincinnati and they put on a great show. ST and JP spent a lot of time out on the extended runway stage which stretched 20 plus rows in the audience which was fun. The band was enthusiastic and engaged the crowd. We would give the show an overall 5 stars but we were very disappointed in the choice of opening acts (Slash). Slash was boring, uninspiring and incredibly way too loud for an opening act.

This is perhaps the best concert I have ever attended. Steven Tyler and Joe Perry are amazing showmen and are just as entertaining as they were 30 years ago.....Drum solo was absolutely crazy! Don't know how he has that much stamina! The suprise and one of the higlights was when Johnny Depp came out to play the guitar with Aerosmith on the last song of the nigt - Train Kept a Rollin!

Aerosmith at the Palace
My wife and I are avid concert-goers. We take in about 10-15 shows a year. We were finally able to convince our 16-year-old son to join us. He picked a good show to "cut his teeth". From the moment that Aerosmith took the stage, we were on our feet. High energy and a wonderful stage light show.
AEROSMITH IN CONCERT: DON'T MISS YOUR CHANCE TO SEE AEROSMITH ON TOUR
For over three decades, Aerosmith have been one of rock's most revered and wildly popular bands, crafting timeless songs full of raw guitars and fiercely energetic vocals. The band first reached stardom in the '70s with a string of chart-topping songs, including "Dream On, "Sweet Emotion" and "Walk This Way." During this period, Aerosmith's music defied easy categorization, falling somewhere between bluesy hard rock and early-era punk (with occasional ballads here and there). In 1986, Aerosmith came back in a big way, appearing on Run D.M.C.'s cover of "Walk This Way," a creative fusion of hip hop and rock that has undoubtedly inspired countless rap-metal acts. Hits from Aerosmith's own albums during the '80s include "Dude (Looks Like a Lady)," "Angel," "Rag Doll," "Love in an Elevator" and "Janie's Got a Gun." Entering the '90s, Aerosmith's popularity only grew as they released hit singles such as "Amazing," "Livin' on the Edge" and "Cryin'." In 1998, Aerosmith contributed four tracks to the film Armageddon—starring singer Steven Tyler's daughter Liv Tyler—including the chart topper "I Don't Want to Miss a Thing." 2001 saw the release of Just Push Play, featuring the track "Jaded," and, in 2004, the band issued the blues-fueled album Honkin' on Bobo.
