BACKGROUND SNAPSHOT:
Andrew Belle, born Drew Fortson, didn’t always know he wanted to be a musician. He majored in marketing at Taylor University before realizing his passion for music and deciding to pursue a full-time career as a singer-songwriter. Influenced by popular indie artists like Bon Iver and Beach House, Belle penned reflective songs that made their debut on his 2008 EP All Those Pretty Lights, a shining release that generated significant buzz around the budding new act. He followed up in 2010 with The Ladder, which featured several songs that appeared on major television shows like Grey’s Anatomy, Vampire Diaries, and Pretty Little Liars. He spent the next few years touring alongside his fellow musician friends like Greg Laswell and The Milk Carton Kids and continued to gain a devoted fanbase along the way. After taking a hiatus to craft his next material, Belle released his sophomore LP -- 2013’s Black Bear – to widespread critical and commercial success before embarking on a national headlining tour. A promising artist with major potential, Belle always has ticket buyers awestruck when he performs his heartfelt collection of tunes at his chilled-out live shows.
