Caligaris on Tour
Los Caligaris might be one of the most lively acts to come out of Argentina. Led by singer Martín Pampiglione, the more than 10-piece band's unique fusion of rock, ska, Cordovan quartet, and circus acts creates a spectacle that has energized crowds from Argentina to Europe. Onstage, their high-energy performances incorporate traditional circus acts, theatrical makeup and highly embellished outfits. The band's name promises that fans will have fun until the very end, named after the famous clown "Caligari," who took a fall that would prove to be fatal during an act but still performed the rest of his show. Despite the sad ending of Caligari, Los Caligaris' shows are anything but a downer, with bright horns, exciting circus performances, and band members that know how to get a crowd moving. Caligaris will celebrate their 25th anniversary as a band in the fall of 2022 on the Veinticirco: Nunca Es Tarde Para Ser Un Niño Tour. Don't miss your chance to get tickets to this unforgettable saltimbanqui-style celebration.
Caligaris Live in Concert
Formed in 1997 in Córdoba, Argentina, by brothers Martín and Diego Pampiglione, Caligaris blend the sounds of Cordovan quartet with modern rock, ska and circus elements. The band is so dedicated to putting on a memorable show that they named themselves after the famous clown Caligari, who fell and died while performing but incorporated his pain to finish the act. The group, consisting of 10 members, released their first album, Yernos Perfectos, in 2002. The album featured their first successful single, "Nadie Es Perfecto," which became the smash hit that launched their success. In 2004, Los Caligaris released Grasas Totales, followed by Chanchos Amigos in 2005, with both albums picking up nominations for the Premios Gardel a la Música awards (formerly known as the Premios Carlos Gardel). The group went on to play in many prestigious festivals worldwide, including Cosquín Rock in Chile, Festival de Peñas Villa Maria in Argentina, the Pepsi Music Festival in Argentina, Festival AcercArte in Argentina, and more. After releasing more than 10 albums,, Caligaris were identified by the Konex Foundation as one of the 100 best artists of the decade in Argentina. For 25 years, the band has been prolific in both their pace of album releases and performances, often performing up to 80 shows per year. In recent years, Caligaris have released multiple collaboration albums with prominent Latin artists and have appeared as jurors on the popular show "Canta Conmigo Ahora."
