Now just a poor cover band

I've been a huge Chicago fan for decades, even after Peter Cetera left. Jason Scheff was a decent replacement for Peter, but after Jason left, this is basically just a cover band, and not even a good one. Save some money and go to a karaoke bar instead. You'll find a better singer.

50 years and still sound terrific

I'm always impressed with the horn section including sax, flute, trumpet and trombone. Coming from a family of trumpet players, I know how hard this is at any age. I have seen Chicago since they started - it was a small venue in Braintree, MA. Their songs are timeless and it's obvious they really do love what they do despite the grind of being on the road. I never miss them!

Meet & Greet with the band

This was my third time seeing Chicago and my favorite. I kind of lost track but they played 5-6 songs from their Chicago Transit Authority album which is my favorite of theirs. The sound and video show were both excellent. I was on the front row and it was a great fun experience

Great Concert!

This was my 8th time seeing Chicago and they sounded better than ever. The instruments were highlighted in some of the songs and the setting at the Pearl Theater was perfect. There were 9 of us attending and we all had a great time!

Mis-match pairing for sure!

For this show, I fault the event planners who paired REO with Chicago. The 2 music styles are a mis-match and the crowd was clearly divided. Out of many REO shows over the last several years, this is the first REO show I have ever seen where most of the crowd was sitting down during their show, which was very diappointing and a clear indicator the concert promoters got this pairing completely wrong. Overall, both bands played their music and the show was "ok"....but completely different music styles and ages thoughout the crowd resulted in a less than pleasant entertainment experience. If you are a fan of both bands, you'll have a wonderful time....but clearly that was not the case in Cincinnati with thousands of people sitting down during REO's best.

Chicago--Classic

Chicago has been playing for over 40 years. Some have come, some have left but for me the backbone is the horn section. Why they are not in the Hall of Fame is beyond me. Their music is timeless.

Chicago at the Fox

My wife and I have seen Chicago about a dozen or so times. The venue was a little subdued but the music was is still as good as ever. The set list has been totally changed from last year (because there was no opening act) and they played for about 2 1/2 hours (also because there was no opening act).
