Walker’s career began touring at the age of 19, which led him to a house singer position at a bar. James Stroud, producer and president of Giant Records, discovered Walker singing and signed him to his company in 1992. Walker’s style of country music, influenced by the rhythm and blues that he grew up with, has been immensely popular throughout his career. The country singer has released 11 albums, including a Christmas special and a greatest hits album, with four of his studio albums have obtaining platinum certification: Clay Walker, If I Could Make A Living, Hypnotize the Moon, and Rumor Has It. When Walker isn’t on tour or creating his rugged, blues-inspired country music, he works with his charity, Band Against MS, Inc. He was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis in 1996, and he established BAMS in 2003 to fund research and help those affected by the disease.
