Lion King was superlative
Over 20 years ago, I watched the original movie with my first-born daughter! We would sit together and watch the video over and over. It was her favorite... and mine. On Saturday we were able to watch the play together! What a visceral experience to have enjoyed the movie with her as a child and to enjoy the theater with her as a young adult! We were both Blown Away! We sang the songs together as we did so many years ago and basked in the glow of this transcendent event. The pageantry, the costumes, the voices, the staging, the entire event was nothing short of spectacular and stupendous! Rafikki and Zazu were sheer delights... a casting revelation. The entire cast and crew phenomenal.

Lion King = purely magical!
My 14 year old daughter and I saw The Lion King for the first time last week, and we were spellbound. This show must be experienced to be believed. The costumes and sets were STUNNING. The story was brought to life in indescribable ways. The acting was exceptional. I only wish I could see it 10 more times.
