Lion King was AMAZING

From the intricate details of costume to the whole screenplay, it was so beautifully done. Worth every penny! Actors and actresses did wonderful!

Big Disney production

Matinee performance so lots of excited children added to the air of anticipation. Puppetry amazing and staging really impressive. Clear sound and lots of recognizable music. Good performers - child actors not the most convincing but competent. Strict enforcement of no photos at all during the performance so I can't post a photo since I didn't get one - bit disappointing but I understand the money/copyrights issue.

Lion King was amazing !!!

The show was absolutely amazing we were at the very back row and was still able to enjoy it. I would say the only reason I give this a 4 is because there was a single light that didn’t shut off throughout the whole show and we tried to get someone to fix it during intermission but nothing was done about it.

Amazing Show; painful seats

First time to see The Lion King. Absolutely fantastic! I would see it again in a heartbeat. I was moved to tears with the opening number, if that tells you anything. Rafiki took the paint off the ceiling in the opening number and the harmonies were SO tight and so gorgeous! It really is a spectacle of color, music, puppetry, costumes; the whole works unlike any other show! On the other hand, it was my first time to Music Hall at Fair Park. The seats are so old and so uncomfortable, that my butt hurt, the back of my thighs hurt, I was not sure if I was getting a blood clot! I would like to see Music Hall put some $$ into better seats. I've never been so uncomfortable in a show. Ever. But that's a problem with the hall, not the show.

Lion King was good!

I really enjoyed the play. I loved how the people walked down the rows. The only thing I think needed changing was I thought the people should have covered their faces with the animal faces more. The giraffes were the best!!

Great show

It was a great presentation like normal. I saw it in Chicago a long time ago and it was great then. Love it.

The Lion King Musical

The scenery and costumes were spectacular. Aside from the actors who played Scar and Rafiki, the acting and singing was not up to par for a broadway show.

A beautiful experience! The pageantry was amazing and I'm so glad this was the introduction to live professional theater for my kids. I would see this again and again.

This is a ‘must see’! The costumes were absolutely beautiful and the singing was outstanding!!!

I just have one thing to say: GO WATCH IT! It is well worth it!!
