Disney Presents The Lion King (Touring) Tickets

Great show, great staff, Ticketmaster though...

Ticketmaster allowed me to book two seats in the front row of the far right section, plus two seats in the 3rd row of that same section. The price was too good to be true ($109/ticket in a $139/ticket section,) and I found out why. The first row was occupied by two sign language interpreters and all their equipment. The third-row seats were blocked by the two interpreters as well. We definitely were not going to ask the interpreters to move. There was an entire section of deaf and hard-of-hearing depending on them. The interpreters also felt our plight. They found the head usher, and that head usher scrambled with minutes to spare to re-locate us to comparable seats for two of the tickets and an upgrade for the other two! The show was amazing! The cast really brought their Disney A-game to the show. My wife cried tears of joy. I got choked up because my wife was crying. My children were mad at us because we took the upgraded seats for the first half of the show. The ushers again moved our kids for us to allow them a better vantage point for the second act of the performance. Overall, the show was well worth it and the staff at Music Hall at Fair Park went out of their way to provide us with a great and memorable experience to make up for a ticketing hiccup. With that said, the first six or seven rows of the far right and left sections of the Orchestra level are not worth the money. a significant part of the show is cut off from view because of that location when attending a musical, a ballet, play, or anything else that utilizes the entire stage.

The lion king was unbelievable!

The show was more than i expected. It was beautiful! Next time I’d like to purchase tickets for my entire family. I know they will be amazed like i was as well.

The Lion King touring show way magnificent.

The touring show of the Lion King was a sight and sound experience like no other. The troup seamed to actually care and enjoy preforming. When you enjoy your work it shows. The venue was a little different and not what I expected however it was a lot better the. The negative reviews. To enjoy a three hour production you have to sit forward for the presidential circle, row “m”. The chaire were wide and plush. Plenty of leg and shoulder room. Seat backs rock.

Lion King was such a great show. Of all the live performances I have seen this was one of the best!!!

Disney plus broadway equals amazing

Includes all the greatest music from the Disney movie, plus some new great songs. The costumes were amazing. Pumba and the giraffes were amazing. The use of masks for the lions, yet still being able to see the actors faces was very imaginative. The actors also did a few special effects within the audience. Overall, great for all audiences. Only downside, they strictly enforce no photos, including non-flash phones. Thus no pictures to include with the review.

It’s great to be King

Surprised my niece for her birthday. She was SUPER SURPIISED. She loved loved loved it. My sister and daughter also attended and we can’t wait to see it again!!!

The Lion King was Awesome!

This is the 2nd time I have seen this musical. I took my daughter to see it in 2016 for her birthday. We enjoyed it so much them. This time, I brought my mother with us. It was like taking a child to Disneyland for the first time! The look on her face said EVERYTHING!! She LOVED IT - the music, the costumes, the performers - EVERYTHING! In fact, she hasn't stopped talking about it yet - and we went to see it on the 2nd. I cannot say enough about the DSM program and all of its beautifully done shows. This is not the first time we've gone to a DSM show and it will not be the last for sure. Thank you to all the men and women behind the scenes that make this all possible.

Venue is getting old and dingy. A premiere city like Dallas should have a nicer music hall I think. The actual performance was good. I thought actors lacked something to capture my imagination. Just a show; nothing spectacular; except the costumes were great.

EPIC!

This was the best production I have ever seen. The puppetry was absolutely epic! The costumes were phenomenal! The performers were flawless! If you haven't yet seen this show, be sure to catch it, but whatever you do don't wait...you will not be disappointed. You will be mesmerized and enchanted...Promise.
