BACKGROUND SNAPSHOT:
Duke Dumont, aka Adam George Dyment, was born in 1982 in the London suburb of Harrow. Under the mentorship of famed producer Switch, Dumont cut his teeth in the mid-‘00s remixing pop songs by artists like Lily Allen and Bat for Lashes. In 2007 he released his debut EP Regality, following up a year later with The Dominion Dubs EP. After releasing a mix in 2010 for legendary London nightclub Fabric, Dumont relocated to the countryside to focus on original material. The move paid off – in 2013 he topped the UK Singles Chart with his official debut single “Need U (100%). His sophomore single “I Got U” also reached No. 1 in the UK, leading to extensive touring and eventually earning him a Grammy nomination for Best Dance Recording. Dumont has been on fire ever since, blowing minds on tour with his epic sets and blowing up the charts with tracks like “Won’t Look Back” (2014) and “The Giver (Reprise)”.
