Essence festival
Performances were great. However the Super Lounge concept needs to be stopped. I didn’t get a chance to see artist, Ella Mai, because the Super lounge was at capacity. In addition, the location this artist would perform was changed at the last minute and there was no update. Therefore by the time it was announced to those in attendance, it was too late to get in that small lounge. I paid to see artists perform. Why does Essence limit who I can see by placing artist in small lounges. Get rid of Super Lounges and put all performances on main stage!!!

I loved the shows because the artist and event staff are awesome. The ticket purchase and information surrounding event was what ruined my experience the most. I gave the amazing review for the artist and event staff because they deserved it.

Ticket masters double charged my credit card and sent me two sets of tickets for the same seats. Mary J- the Bomb! Great show! The Queen, Salt & Pepper, MC Lite, Brandy, Missy Elliot was AWESOME! Great show, Bring them back 2019. Escape was Good- performance wasn’t long like Queen and Mary J... Overall Essence was Black Excellence- great job Essence! Looking forward to 2019. Please bring y’all best line up.....

Terrible Acoustics and Major Issues w/ Microphones
The acoustics were not good in the venue. There was constant trouble with the microphones as the artists were performing! That is unacceptable in a venue like the Superdome and for the money we are paying for these tickets. Get it right next year please!
