Brilliant live with an orchestra
Evanescence live was brilliant. Amy Lee’s voice is a delight. With the added support of an orchestra, it really lifted the music to another level.

My kids are fans
I took my kids to see Evanescence and they enjoyed it. I thought they were ok, nothing great. Lindsey Stirling was the opener and she was amazing! Like a ballerina that plays violin while dancing. Much more energetic and fun. Having been to a couple different amphitheaters (Alpine Valley in Wisconsin, Great Woods in Massachusetts) I can say that Hollywood Casino is pretty boring. The acoustics are terrible. The only think that saves it is the parking lot is easy to get out of.

The Venue is great the concert was disappointing
I love Evanescence but I wish she would've had her full band. I did not like her with just the orchestra. Some songs are ok but her main good songs need her rock band like we are used to hearing. So that was a little disappointing. Lindsey Sterling was awesome though and the rest was great. We were just expecting a different experience with Amy Lee.

Amazing experience!
This show was just phenomenal. The production. The sound. The setlists for both Lindsey Stirling and Evanescence were packed with great songs and they collaborated with each other on some songs which was awesome. It was a great venue - clean and we'll organized with very friendly staff. It was really an amazing experience.

Was a good kind of different!
I have never seen Lindsey Stirling or Evanescence, but this was the perfect way to get my first taste. We went to see Evanescence, but ever since seeing Lindsey on DWTS I was excited to get the chance to see her live also. She was great on stage and also shared a bit of her story. She had a ton of energy and it was great to see her and Amy Lee do some songs together as well. Evanescence was different than expected and it wasn't their typical rock show, but I wasn't disappointed. Anyone that went there expecting a normal show from them didn't read the description that they had a full orchestra with them when they bought the tickets and just saw Evanescence. It showcased the music and Amy Lee's voice all at once. I was surprised when I heard it was a local orchestra they brought in and only the second show of this leg of it. Overall it was a good experience and I look forward to seeing one of their typical rock shows as well!!

AMAZING Concert!
The concert got off to a late start, but both Lindsey Stirling and Evanescence were FANTASTIC! I loved it when Amy Lee collabed with Stirling for Shatter Me. Lindsey was so bright, bubbly, and funny and I also loved learning about the inspiration behind some of her songs. j Evanescence was equally amazing. There was a Beatles song in there that made me scratch my head, but the overall concert was great! I think I preferred the original versions of some of their songs, but I do realize that several tracks were re-done for the album "Synthesis". I do wish Evanescence had brought CDs to buy, as I would have liked to grab "Synthesis". I was able to snag "Brave Enough" from Stirling, as well as 2 Evanescence shirts. Overall, a fantastic concert! My biggest issue was the seating (non-stadium seats suck for shorter people), but this flaw has nothing to do with either performer.

Event was great
This was a very unique event, using the local orchestra for both bands performances was really cool. I had never heard of Lindsey Stirling but that show was great and made me a fan. The Evanescence show was really awesome, such an amazing voice!!
