This concert was terrible.
G Clinton only SAT looking at the audience while those few musicians on stage played. The Sang1/2 of 3 g Clinton’s songs the rest was rap!! Concert was awful!!

The Funk Is Still On The One
All I can say is catch them in your part of town, for a real throw down. Blackbird, Lodge, George and the band keep getting stronger. Played a nice mix of old new and newer stuff. I've seen P-funk dozens of times since the 70's and I'm here to say I was not disappointed one bit.

Way too loud, but PFunk still has it
I don't like this club or the way it is run. I will not shed tears when it closes. The sound was pretty bad -- way, way too loud. We recorded one song on a mobile phone and it sounded better on the phone than it did live. I heard PFunk many years ago at a different club and the sound was far better even though the band was bigger -- still really loud, but not too loud to hear it properly. The opening act was torture (also way too loud); they were trying to do some weird hybrid of R&B, Metal, and Janis Joplin. That said, PFUNK is still PFUNK, meaning they were great. The rumor is that George Clinton is retiring in about a year, so be sure to catch them. Just not here.

Funkadelic is in the house
I would have like to have seen George Clinton more but he explained he just got out the hospital. The band was kicking it tho.

Not what I expected
The performance was below average; messy and noisy! George barely performed and let the band do their own thing which was no funk jazz at all but a mesh of noises and voices not to mention bikini parade!
