The Georgia Southern Eagles baseball team is a varsity intercollegiate athletic team of Georgia Southern University in Statesboro, Georgia. The team competes in the Sun Belt Conference, one of the premier conferences in college baseball. The team is known for their blue and white uniforms and their nickname, the Eagles.
The Eagles play their home games at J.I. Clements Stadium, which is located on the university's campus in Statesboro. J.I. Clements Stadium has a capacity of 3,500 and has been the home of the Eagles since 2005. The stadium is named after John I. Clements, a former Georgia Southern University president.
The Eagles have a rich history in college baseball. They have won 10 conference tournament championships and have advanced to the College World Series twice. The Eagles have also made over a dozen appearances in the NCAA Tournament.
