With the dark ethereal nature of Fiona Apple and the vibrant passion of Florence & The Machine, Giselle's "pop noir" is a sultry fever dream. Born in Miami, FL to Cuban immigrants, Giselle eventually left for New York City to pursue music and settled in Jersey City. Her career began to surge when her music and performances were featured on FX Networks. Since then, her work has been featured on HBO, Netflix, & PBS. She has performed all over the world including theaters such as Carnegie Hall, Gusman Theater Miami, Teatro Principal en Zaragoza, and House of Blues. Giselle has partnered with Alzheimer's New Jersey to raise awareness for Alzheimer's/dementia and care takers. Giselle is a hands-on visual/musical storyteller who weaves a deep understanding of musical form with raw, emotional visuals.
Giselle is the writer & director of The Florence Foster Jenkins Schubertiade Review, a pop-musical in one act. The performance explores a fusion of musical styles and experiences rooted in Giselle's diverse background in pop and opera, blurring the lines between performance art and personal expression. Florence Foster Jenkins Schubertiade Review is an unapologetic celebration of creative freedom, breaking down barriers and inspiring audiences.
