GOBLIN IN CONCERT:
Italian prog-rock legends Goblin have been making collective hairs stand on end for more than 40 years with their eerie cinematic compositions. Rising to fame in the '70s for their soundtrack contributions to Dario Argento films like Profondo Rosso and Suspiria, the band's creative instrumentation and mastery of suspense music set an industry standard that endures in horror filmmaking to this day. On the road for their first-ever US tour in 2013, Goblin thrilled fans with goosebump-inducing renditions of their most famous themes, building excitement for their live appearances in 2014.
BACKGROUND SNAPSHOT:
After several initial incarnations in the early '70s, Goblin solidified their lineup and name to record the soundtrack of Dario Argento's 1975 cult-horror classic Profondo Rosso. Written and recorded in the span of a few days, the film's score was a surprise hit, selling over one million copies and topping Italian charts. They made their album debut a year later with Roller, before once again collaborating with Argento for the soundtrack of 1977's Suspiria. The band continued to release music throughout the late '70s and early '80s before going dark for nearly 20 years. After several reunion outings in the '00s, Goblin embarked on their first-ever North American tour with the bulk of their original lineup in 2013.

"Amazing...These guys were super tight and much heavier than I thought they would be. In Brooklyn we got to meet them, extremely nice guys, very humble."
"Waited more than two decades to see them...and it was totally worth it."
