Harry Potter Will Be On Broadway The Next Ten Year
Every bit of the 68 million dollar budget was put to great use. Harry Potter and the Cursed Child is one of the few plays that can deliver the same visual magic as the film series. From the time you step into the theatre, you are transported to a new world of wonder. I enjoyed Part One more than Part Two, but I was never disappointed. The plays stay true to the plot and the characters established by J.K Rowling. The story incorporates the universal themes of love with a side of daddy issues. This a must see. You may not believe your eyes but you will believe in the magic of Harry Potter.

great show
Show was great, but it would be better if patrons were allowed to go their seats earlier so there would be less crowding in the lobby area. There were so many people standing waiting to go in you couldn't breathe

HPNYC was so incredible!
My girlfriends and I entered the HPNYC lotto to win the chance to buy tickets for the earliest performances and we were lucky enough to get to see it! We flew up from Nashville just for this show and would do it again in a heartbeat. Upon seeing this turned into a play, we all were perplexed as to how they would be able to translate so much magic from the book into a live version- and we were NOT disappointed in the least. It was completely unforgettable and we loved every second of it. #Keepthesecrets

Fantastic
"Cursed Child" is the best play I've ever seen. Ever. Brilliant staging, casting, acting, special effects - astonishing! Best of all - great character development and most importantly, a story with HEART. The Lyric Theatre was especially designed around and for the play, which is extraordinary. The staff at the Lyric friendly and helpful - two delightful evenings I'd relive in a heartbeat!

Utterly Amazing For Everyone
I am not a Harry Potter 'fan', but had to get tickets for my kids(10 and 12) as they love everything Harry Potter. Three weeks ago we took them to Universal for a week and they were in awe of the rides and the recreation of Hogwarts and Diagon Alley. Incredible how man created an idea into reality from CGI and one's imagination. Fast-forward to May 3rd/4th to our Harry Potter and The Cursed Child shows and in my mind I was thinking ' can't be as good as Universal's experience' and I was right. Harry Potter and the Cursed Child on Broadway shattered every expectation I had. This play; in two parts in two nights was BRILLIANT. Absolute magic good for all ages, regardless of whether or not you know about anything Harry Potter. The story/plot, writing, flow, characters, stage(which is insane) combined with the simplicity of lighting, shadows and incorporating cutting-edge technology took me and my family on a 2-night ride we will never forget. And that's the way you have to see this show: 2 Nights. After Part One, you have the rest of the night to settle your goosebumps and discuss the story and where it's going with your kids. They fill you in on all the questions you have as an adult and you're just hooked! My wife and I literally woke up Friday morning in our hotel counting the minutes until Part 2 began. Lyric Theater; WOW. Between layout and history w/renovations and aesthetics/acoustics was simply the perfect venue for this show. And after the final show, an obviously exhausted cast were more than eager matching the crowd's energy to sign autographs and take pictures with my daughter. Jessie Fisher (Delphi Diggory), Anthony Boyle(Scorpius), Sam Clemmett(Albus) and Paul Thornley(Ron Weasley) were the most kind and down-to-earth people; each one nicer than the next. Each character of this play were perfectly cast and it's clear to see just how much work they put into making this the event it is. I can't overstate enough how Anthony Boyle and his chemistry with Sam Clemmett is what makes this show so moving. Boyle will be a global acting talent from the UK that will rival Tom Hardy over the next 20 years. His range, detail and delivery will catapult his career to Hollywood and Internationally soon enough. Thanks to J.K. Rowling for creating a true masterpiece. Loved getting a brief email from her the morning after Part 2 thanking all who attended the show and to please #keepthesecrets. We will Ms. Rowling. We will.

Best Play Ever...
...and not because it’s Harry Potter but rather because of the set, the effects, the acting, and more. I’ve seen a number of broadway plays and this was the best thus far. While the play starts off rather slow in both parts one and two, it begins to pick up at least twenty minutes in. The actors were amazing and I could definitely feel what they were feeling. Also, them men were cuuttte!! The set, the costumes, the tricks, the jokes, all stupendous. I want to experience it again and I rarely want to see/do anything twice.

Lovely & Magical
Saw this in London originally along with this exceptional cast. I can say they have impossibly improved upon the London version for the NYC version. The magic is even more magical and the performances first rate. A special shout out to Anthony Boyle who plays Scorpius Malfoy. Also they Lyric theatre is a total marvel. It was renovated for this play and is exceptional. The staff knew how to handle the crowds, the ladies in the merchandise store were lovely. There were enough ladies room bathrooms and they were clean! It was a fantastic experience I would do over in a heartbeat. Also thanks to the cast members who came out afterward and signed Playbills. They were just lovely to meet.
