When is the box office open?

All sales prior to ISF Box opening date will only be available online through www.Ticketmaster.com or via Ticketmaster Mobile App. ISF Box Office generally opens June 1 for in-person/phone sales - Monday - Friday 8am-5pm (call ahead for exact opening date). During the actual fair dates, box office will be open all fair dates 8am-9pm. Please call 217-782-1979 or 217-782-6661 for any additional inquiries.

What payment types are accepted?

The Box Office accepts Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express, cash and checks. Checks are accepted through July 15. Credit/Debit cards are subject to a processing fee.

What are the will call rules?

Customers can pick up tickets during the Fair at the Box Office windows. Customers must a photo ID, and may be required to present card used for purchase - Pick up name listed must match the photo ID. Pickup prior to Fair dates, please reach out to box office (217) 782-1979 for hours and location of pickup.

Is there accessible seating?

Accessible tickets are available through both Ticketmaster and IL State Fair box office. Only one companion seat per accessible seat may be purchased. Please call box office 217-782-1979 for any questions. Request for sign language interpreters must be submitted to Box Office by July 15th.

What are the general rules of Illinois State Fairgrounds Il State Fair?

Fair Admission is NOT included with event ticket purchase. Admission fee is required to enter the fairgrounds and to attend ticketed events for all ages 13 & over. Cameras are allowed into the fair, but not into the Grandstand. Recording devices are not permitted into the Grandstand. General Track area is a Standing Room Only / General Admission area. Are children allowed?

Everyone 3 and older must have a ticket for Grandstand events. If child under 3 will be attending, child must sit on adult lap in Reserved Seating areas (if separate seat is required for child, ticket must be purchased). Children attending in General Track (Standing Room Only) area, requires a Waiver (available thru box office) to be signed by parent/adult.
