James Taylor/Bonnie Raitt “pitiful”
What a ripoff. $625.12 for one 6th Row ticket. Non-refundable, Non-transferable. Rare, pathetic performance! Overall, huge disappointment! Save your money!

room for improvement.
Song selection wasn't the greatest. When you have a song about a dog into the set at third or fourth, when you have so much better song for the die hard JT fan,

Woohoo! Very fun & excellent music! Ticketmaster says my review is too short, so I added this sentence.

JT is like an old friend - always a treat!
I have seen James Taylor a number of times over the years and he just keeps getting better and better. It's like sitting down with an old friend - comfortable, warm, and friendly. He is a classic of our time. His band was incredible. Total enjoyment! Bonnie Raitt was amazing as well. That lady can rock her guitar and her voice is solid blues. Loved the "Talking Heads" cover. Great concert overall - well worth the price - don't miss this one!

Magical!
Only complaint I have is that the video screens were too small.

JT and Bonnie Raitt did not disappoint!
Every song was perfect. Loved the last song, Close your Eyes, sung duo. The only song missed that I would have loved to have heard would have been Bonnie's I can't make you love me. JT's band was superb and each musician and singer so talented. The "show" was interesting...liked seeing JT's old pictures and some of his handwritten lyrics. Fun!

JT never disappoints!!!
Once again a wonderful concert! Bonnie Raitt was great, but I was waiting for my favorite....James Taylor!!! He was his kind, humble, fun self as he took the stage. He played all my favorite songs, but I especially love "Shower the People"! I smiled through the whole performance! See you same time next year James!!!

JT & Bonnie - Great Show!
Great show - started right on time with Bonnie Raitt coming out and playing for a good hour, lots of old favorites. Short break then James Taylor took the stage, sounded great. Again, lots of old favorites. Loved all the old pictures & videos on the screen behind him. Then Bonnie came out and joined him for a few more songs.2nd part of the concert was almost 2 hours.
James Taylor in Concert
James Taylor is the archetypal singer/songwriter, who helped create the template for the troubadour style that dominated the 1970s. And when he brings his blend of folk, pop, rock, and soul influences to the stage, it's like a part of history is unfolding before the crowd, with enough tuneful energy to generate some major good-time vibes. The five-time Grammy-winning, multi-platinum songsmith offered up tracks like "Fire and Rain" and "You've Got a Friend" to the collective pop-cultural consciousness in the '70s, and they've stayed there ever since. Of course, he's continued to make compelling music for many decades, and his shows are a grab bag of transfixing new tunes and beloved classics. Taylor's 2018 tour with his All-Star Band (not to be confused with Ringo Starr's similarly named group) also shows how much a crew of world-class players can bring to a classic catalog. Some of the most renowned musicians on the planet lend their talents to the band, including drumming god Steve Gadd, hotshot jazz pianist Kevin Hays, legendary saxman Lou Marini, and more.
James Taylor Background
James Taylor was born in Boston, but moved to North Carolina a few years later, and the bucolic settings of his childhood eventually informed the pastoral side of his songwriting in a major way. He learned guitar in his adolescence, soaking up folk and blues influences before hitting the coffeehouse circuit in the '60s. Before too long he was in Greenwich Village fronting a band called The Flying Machine, but he soon emerged as a solo singer/songwriter. His 1970 album ‘Sweet Baby James' became a game-changer for the whole '70s music scene. Alongside the likes of Carole King and Joni Mitchell, Taylor epitomized the thoughtful, acoustic-based ballad style that came to dominate the era, and ubiquitous hits like "Fire and Rain" and "Country Road" were central to that style. In later years Taylor showed his versatility by scoring smash singles with covers of R&B tunes like Marvin Gaye's "How Sweet It Is (To Be Loved By You)" and Jimmy Jones' '50s hit "Handyman," and Taylor has never stopped finding fresh ways to bring his work to the huge audience that's been addicted to his music for decades.
