OUTSTANDING
Must see this show, performance was outstanding by all characters. Song selection and story lline was done in a sequence that was well understood and thought out. Would see it again if I could. Cast of performers was excellent. Sold out venue was also outstanding at E J Thomas Performing arts hall.

Jersey Boys, Great Show!!
This show was great! I had seen it in LAS a few years ago but I have to say this was even better. The only bad part would be the venue seating. We had a regular seat and my husband was still cramped in. The row behind us had "limited legroom" and they weren't kidding!! Way too small for even me and I am 5'3"! Still a beautiful venue but could use some seating upgrades.

L❤️ved Jersey Boys!
Grew up listening to my moms records and in high school saw Frankie Valli and 4 seasons in concert. Was like going back in time still remember the songs liked their story of their fame.

Worst Frankie ever!!!
I love the musical JERSEY BOYS and I've seen it 17 times from Broadway to Las Vegas to various tour stops across the country. I was very excited to see this touring version at Akron's beautiful EJ Thomas Hall on Wednesday night. Paid top dollar for fourth row/center seats. Perfect. Then came word that the role of Frankie Valli that night would be played by an understudy. OK, I've seen countless productions over the years with an understudy in a key role. Usually, it's all good and the show doesn't miss a beat. But not this time. The key role of Frankie Valli was entrusted this night to Sean Burns--and he failed miserably. Zero energy. Horrific singing. Junior High school level ability on stage. Listless, no connection to the role or the audience and the most disappointing, lackluster performance you could ever imagine. The rest of the cast was superb. But even they could not over up the "vegetable tossing" worthy inability of Sean Burns. The real Frankie Valli would have been embarrassed. So, too, was the sold out audience this night. While leaving the venue, everyone was buzzing and complaining about the abysmal effort by the Frankie wannabe. Such a shame. "Oh, What A Night" turned into "oh, what a bomb." I called the venue the next day and they confirmed that they had received dozens of calls regarding the poor "Frankie" performance. JERSEY BOYS is still a great show and you should go see it whenever and as often as you can. Just make sure before you buy your tickets, that Sean Burns isn't playing the lead role in JERSEY BOYS or any other professional performance or you will be greatly disappointed and have thrown away your ticket money. Sad, but true. But kudos to the rest of the talented, hard-working touring cast. They deserved better that night...and so did the sold out crowd at Akron's EJ Thomas Hall (awesome venue).
