Jessica Audiffred Live in Concert
Growing up in Mexico City, Jessica Audiffred didn't have the same opportunities that other disc jockeys and electronic producers had. Since many locals weren't fans of typical bass and trap music, she quickly realized that she needed to make her own lane into the industry.
So while working to grow her fanbase, Audiffred would entertain at parties and modify her sound to match the wants and needs of those in her town. However, it wasn't long before she outgrew Mexico City and began making a name for herself. In 2016, she experienced her first major breakthrough when industry titan, Flux Pavilion, signed her to his label.
Since her successful push in 2016, Audiffred has gone on to win many industry-specific accolades, including being named to e Audiofemme's Top 10 Female Acts of 2018 and receiving incredible praise from music outlets that mention Audiffred as a tastemaker and predicting her success as a major staple in the global dance scene.
Audiffred continues to be a major figure in the electronic music scene in Mexico and has helped several smaller producers get their start, including Youth in Circles, Keel and Bagha. Her goal is to support artists who want to create music but struggle to find their footing in a country where dubstep and bass have yet to catch on.
