Def Leppard - AMAZING but Journey was a Disaster
Def Leppard was absolutely AMAZING. But we were extremely disappointed in Journey. This was our 2nd time to see Journey. We did not enjoy them the first time very much, but thought maybe we were just tired and worn out from the opening two bands. But this time, we realized we just really don't enjoy them in concert. Their music is SO loud that it is distorted. and the 4 different guitar solos that last 9 minutes each was a little ridiculous. They are a legend and I truly love their music! They are just not good to listen to in concerts. Like many many others in the crowd, we left have way thru their performance. Very disappointed. Def Leppard, on the other hand, was unforgetable!! LOVE, LOVe, LOVE!!!

Journey
Def Leppard was awesome .. but journey left a lot to be desired.. couldn’t hear the lead singer. He looked as though he was screaming just to be heard. We left early as well as many others. What a shame

Journey and Def Leppard.
Def Leppard stole the show (hands down awesome!). Journey was not want I expected, sound mix was bad, background was so loud It drowned vocals to the point you couldn't tell if singer was even actually singing.

Def Leppard Great...Journey not so great
First thing I love both bands....The Def Leppard portion of concert off the chart......I have seen Journey three times and this was bad....The sound was terrible....Monday after concert everyone I talked with and even radio stations had the same review as I......Journey needs to step it up or retire.....

Def Leppard & Journey were amazing!
Def Leppard was amazing!!! They really put on a show! The sound wasn't great on Journey - it was too loud and you couldn't hardly hear them singing. But all in all it was an amazing concert!!!

Journey
Def Leppard was fantastic. Sound was perfect. Great stage presents. Journey was WAY TO LOUD. Around the 3rd or 4th song ppl started leaving because you couldn’t hear the singer sing over the loudness of the music. Singer was very entergetic. Was just to loud to hear him.

Learn. To. Mix.
Muddy, bass heavy sound, buried vocals, reverb turned to 11, I've been going to concerts since 1982 and I cannot recall a worse sounding show than Journey (and Def Leppard). I cannot stress enough just how bad the sound was. Neal Schon didn't help his cause any with multiple solos so effects laden that they became an unintelligible drone that he obviously believed could only be fixed by adding ridiculous amounts of reverb. Honestly, you're better off watching a concert video than dropping (at least) $100.00 on a garbage show like this.
Journey in Concert
As the original legends of arena rock, few bands in existence put on a show quite like Journey. Anchored by singer Arnel Pineda's thrilling vocals and Neal Schon's unstoppable guitars, the band continues to show fans, both old and new, exactly how it's done as they tear through marathon sets of classics like "Don't Stop Believin'" and "Open Arms." After a short break from their relentless tour schedule, they're primed to blow minds again in 2014, pairing up with Steve Miller Band for select dates that are sure to be the stuff of classic rock legend for years to come.
Journey Background
San Francisco-born Journey is the quintessential arena rock band. Assembled in 1973 from the ashes of Santana and Frumious Bandersnatch, the band has since gone through a number of line-up changes — only stalwart guitarist Neal Schon has been with every incarnation. Despite a rotating roster, the band has sold 47 million albums in the US, and is consistently named one of the ten best American rock bands in history. While the '70s and '80s provided them with the most commercial success, their current manifestation with Filipino singer Arnel Pineda has given them truly global breadth.

"This was an amazing two-hour boogie with Journey at their best! Lead guitarist Neal Schon's tenacity on the guitar was incredible!"
