Since first appearing on the scene in the early '90s, Virginia native Keller Williams has earned a glowing reputation as a one-man jam band. Williams is a self-taught musician who grew up heavily influenced by artists like The Grateful Dead and guitar virtuoso Michael Hedges, and by genres ranging from bluegrass and reggae to electronica. Throughout his career Williams has fused all of those inspirations together to create genre-bending music that is astoundingly innovative. He's toured with several popular jam bands -- including Umphrey's McGee, Yonder Mountain String Band, and The String Cheese Incident -- and wowed crowds at festivals like Bonnarroo, AllGood, and Rothbury. Beginning with his 1995 debut album Freek, Williams has made more than 20 records, both as a solo artist and as a collaborator with acts such as The Travelin' McCourys, More Than A Little, The String Cheese Incident, and The Keels.
