This was my first event at Dallas Music Hall at Fair Park, and my first experience watching a live production of one of my favorite shows! I was blown away by the set, design, and above all the performers! They made us laugh, sing (quietly hum) along, and cry with every turn and event! I highly recommend the show and would go again in a heartbeat!

Fantastic performance. If I hadn’t known better, I would have sworn it was the original cast

Les Miz in Dallas
I have seen Les Miserables at least 4 or 5 times in various venues. This production provided beautiful music with outstanding voices. The tragic characters and the comic relief characters created great empathy. However, the lighting was way too dark so it was not easy to see the faces to distinguish some of the characters. The first act was too long. My companions had never seen the show, and they were lost trying to follow the plot line. This production needs some editing and a much better lighting.

This Les MIz was the very best!!!
I attended this performance with my daughter and grandchildren. We are all still talking about it days after! The cast was incredible! Our meal at the Crystal Terrace before the performance was wonderful, service great! The charm of the historic Music Hall and their most helpful staff contributed to our unforgettable evening!

Sound at the Music Hall was terrible!
I was really looking forward to seeing Le Mis, since it had been over 10 years since I had seen it. The sets were great and many of the scenes looked like paintings with the lighting effects. However, probably half of the songs were unintelligible due to poor sound at the Music Hall. Sometimes the singing was so shrill and the orchestra so loud, you couldn't understand the words. Even in some of the quiet scenes, you couldn't understand the song. Very disappointed and will re-think future shows at this venue.

Love DSM
We haven't been going to the musicals for very long, but we truly enjoy going to the Music Hall. There doesn't seem to be a bad seat in the house and the shows they bring in are top notch.

Fair Park Music Hall Sound System Sucks!!
I said this last time I went there (Little Mermaid several years ago; sound system stopped working and it took them an hour break to fix it), but this time I really mean it -- there is no chance I'm going to anything at Fair Park Music Hall ever again, no matter what it is. I will drive to Fort Worth and go to Bass Concert Hall if I have to. I wish DSM was using the Winspear for all its performances. The first half of this show, there was occasional loud crackling of microphones. For the entire first half, it was pretty much impossible to make out any of the lyrics. They clearly made adjustments during intermission because it was better (but not great) during the second half. I've seen this show about 10 times and love it, but this is the worst production I've seen, entirely due to the bad sound system and acoustics in Fair Park Music Hall.

Les Miserables was Amazing!
The sets were the most elaborate I have ever seen onstage, and the constant set changes were masterfully accomplished. The cast was outstanding and the voices powerfully portrayed the characters perfectly. Definitely the best musical I've ever experienced.

Les Mis was wonderful
This my first time seeing Les Miserables in the theater. It was wonderful. The music was hauntingly beautiful, the scenery, which was based on Victor Hugo's paintings, was breath taking. The children gave wonderful performances and were fun to watch. The characters were well cast. I was mesmerized through out the performance. I would recommend this performance of Les Miserables to anyone who enjoys the theater or as an introduction to the best musical theater has to offer.

Good Wins Out.
Great music and singers.
Overall the setting was too dark. Even spots didn’t always help.
