Hailing from the great state of New York, Okayracer makes music that is faster than life itself. Wielding a helmet and a chaotic proclivity towards the allure of sonic adventure, “Racer” as he is called for short, has experienced a meteoric rise in the last 365 days, considering he’s only released 10 songs to date. Since his debut single, the aptly-dubbed “okayracer!”, Racer has received editorial placements from Spotify’s cult-status hyperpop, feedBack, and unleashed playlists, as well as support from Apple Music and Tidal. So far, the work has been well worth it - notable collaborations with hyperpop-electronic troubadours aldrch & poptropicalslutz (Epitaph), in addition to gracing the stage at the infamous Mercury Lounge, has done nothing but further build frenetic anticipation towards his debut Extended Play, titled “FISH” - inspired by an eclectic amount of artists and sounds, just like Racer himself - Which released in August 2023.
