In 2003, Latin pop outfit Reik took the Mexican underground club scene by storm with the release of their demos, which included the hits "Levemente" and "Ahora Sin Ti" and earned them overnight success with Mexican audiences. Combining chiseled good looks with impressive musicianship, the band quickly became a favorite with ticket buyers for their energetic, guitar-heavy live concerts. Their 2005 self-titled debut continued this success, spawning three No. 1 singles and resulting in their first U.S. tour.
