Runnner on Tour
Los Angeles-based Runnner, the stage name for musician Noah Weinman, is an indie-pop singer, songwriter and instrumentalist with deep thoughts and a wry sense of humor. On Spotify, he describes his music as "Bandcamp music for SoundCloud kids." But make no mistake, Runnner's music will tug at your heartstrings and give you pause for thought.
Runnner released his first EP, Fan On, in 2019, which features the streaming hit single "Eggshell." He followed that with One of One in 2020 and the release of another streaming sensation, "Ur Name on a Grain of Rice." Runnner's debut album, Always Repeating, was released in 2021. A talented producer, his credits include Skullcrusher's successful self-titled debut EP.
In an interview with For The Rabbits he was asked what fans could expect from a live show, and he explained saying, "Full band -- big dynamic shifts, ambient interludes, saxophones, some yelling. Solo -- inaudible banter because I'm standing away from the mic, tiny unreleased songs that I may never play again, also yelling."

Runnner Live in Concert
Runnner is the musical project of Los Angeles-based singer and songwriter Noah Weinman. A multi-instrumentalist, Weinman got his start in music playing the trumpet at age 6. He played in an orchestra for a while and considered music school to play jazz trumpet, but his plans changed before he finished high school. He had also started playing the guitar in sixth grade and had a band that played Beatles covers. He graduated from Kenyon College in Ohio with a major in political science.
In an interview with The Line of Best Fit, he says he chose the name Runnner because it was "something that didn't get in the way and was spelled with three n's to get the Bandcamp URL."
His father heavily influenced his musical career. In the same interview, he said, "My dad had weirdly contemporary music taste for a dad. He was the first person to turn me on to Death Cab for Cutie, David Bowie and Fountains of Wayne." Weinman also plays guitar (thanks to his father), bass, banjo, and piano.
In a way, there are two Runnners. One is Weinman as a solo recording act playing each instrument, singing the songs and producing. The other is the full band he takes on the road for live performances, often made up of musician friends he's currently working with.
