SEPTICFLESH IN CONCERT:
Symphonic death metal superstars Septicflesh offer a mind-blowing live spectacular that is as visually stunning as it is sonically brutal. Band members dressed like primeval warlords stalk gruesome stage scenery, headbanging their long locks along to their earth-shattering breakdowns. The horror movie visuals are matched by the epic combination of sophisticated orchestration and heavy metal savagery that gives ticket buyers the thrill of their lives. Headlining The Conquerors of the World Tour in 2015 along with compatriots Moonspell and Deathstars, Septicflesh are sure to deliver all the unbridled fury ticket buyers can handle.
BACKGROUND SNAPSHOT:
Founding members Sotiris Vayenas (guitar), Spiros Antoniou (bass and vocals), and Christos Antoniou (guitar) formed Septicflesh in Athens, Greece in 1990, making their debut the following year with the EP Temple of the Lost Race. Their first full-length Mystic Places of Dawn followed in 1994, helping them earn serious attention from European metal fans. The band developed an even larger and more devoted following with the albums The Ophidian Wheel (1997), A Fallen Temple (1998), and Revolution DNA (1999), which they released in rapid succession. Despite their growing success, the band splint in 2003 to allow the individual members to focus on their various solo projects. Septicflesh made a triumphant return to their native Greece by reuniting for 2007's Metal Healings Festival, and they haven't looked back. Following their critically praised 2008 comeback album Communion, the group released two more albums and continues to bring their orchestrated pandemonium to the masses.
