With a contrasting sound that blends walls of heavy metal with melodic dream pop, Belgium-based musician Isa Holliday birthed Slow Crush in 2017 alongside Jan Jouck and Jelle Harde Ronsmans on guitar and Steven Cammaerts on drums. Shortly after their first performance, the group recorded and pressed their debut studio album, Aurora, to much fanfare. While the group has struggled organizationally behind the scenes, bouncing among several different labels and repressing the album a handful of times, it hasn't stopped Holliday and her group from rocking audience members with their impressive sound.
