Born and raised in Lubbock, Texas, Sydney Ross Mitchell moved to Nashville at the age of nineteen where she spent two years honing her craft as a songwriter before returning to Texas to formally study Audio Engineering. Now based in LA, Sydney has found the sweet spot between her country roots and her contemporary influences, diving headfirst into a sound that she calls Folk Dream Pop.
