Testing Tickets

Rather than catching her on tour, fans in recent years have been making the pilgrimage to the 4,000-seat Colosseum at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas to see Celine Dion perform. Tickets remain highly sought after for the "Celine" production's 70 shows each year, a testament to the French-Canadian singer's enduring star power.  The concerts are crowd-pleasing affairs featuring performances of hits from her nearly three decades in the music business, including "My Heart Will Go On," "Titanic Theme," and "The Reason," as well as some of her favorite songs popularized by others. In 2013,  Dion released a new album titled "Loved Me Back To Life," songs from which she was expected to incorporate into her Vegas setlist. Dion has sold more than 200 million albums worldwide over her career, making her one of the top-selling female artists in history. She's achieved those numbers despite putting her career on hold in 1999, when her popularity was at its peak, to start a family and spend time with her husband and manager, Rene Angelil, who was battling cancer at the time. She began her first Vegas residency in 2003.
