After meeting in college at the University of Florida, Robbie Kingsley, Franco Solari, Dylan McCue, Andre Escobar and Zach Levy started their musical journey together through a slew of long nights and wild house shows in their living room. Ironically, from the tattered carpeting of their college house arose a refined sound that when recorded resonated heavily with students & strangers alike. Earworm hooks, intuitive melodies, and a refreshing but familiar sound led to early streaming success for their debut singles "Younger" and "Stay."
Their debut EP "He Seems Upset" garnered attention from Ones To Watch, Lyrical Lemonade, and Miami New Times. Time has passed, and The Hails have matured. Their production is more unique and forward thinking, yet the ethos of the project is still the same. While it gained experience and refined technique, it still holds on to its original intimacy and nostalgia.
