The Paranoyds on Tour
Los Angeles pop-punk quartet The Paranoyds are rising stars who released their sophomore full-length, Talk Talk Talk, in September 2022 after signing to Jack White's renowned label, Third Man Records. Leaning into their garage rock aesthetic, they bring listeners on a whirlwind ride through genres including punk, grunge and synth pop that leaves you breathless by the end.
Known for their raucous and energetic live shows reminiscent of The Go-Go's in their heyday, the band members grew up together in the L.A. music scene. They spent a majority of their teenage years going to all-ages shows seeing local bands like No Age and Mika Miko, which proved a major inspiration for forming their own band.
Before their 2022 headlining tour throughout North America and the UK in fall 2022, they supported Jack White on a handful of dates in the southern U.S. Don't miss your chance to join in on the fun and see them live in an intimate venue before they blow up.
The Paranoyds Live in Concert
Formed by grade school friends Laila Hashemi and Lexi Funston in 2015 when they were in high school, The Paranoyds later recruited bassist/singer Staz Lindes, bonding over a mutual love of fashion and bands including Violent Femmes, Television, No Doubt, and Radiohead. Growing up in L.A. -- a common tour stop for most major artists -- they had the opportunity to see several of their favorite bands perform live, which served as inspiration for starting their own band.
They started writing original songs when they were in high school and recruited drummer David Ruiz to round-out the previously all-girl band. In May 2016, The Paranoyds self-released a four-song EP, After You, and joined DIIV on tour as their opening act.
The Paranoyds released their debut full-length album, Carnage Bargain, in 2019, which the band describes as "a raucous blend of garage rock grit, new wave swagger, horror film soundtrack campiness, and a myriad of other influences."
The EP, Pet Cemetery, followed on Suicide Squeeze Records, before they caught the attention of Jack White and Third Man Records, which signed them to the label and released their second full-length album, Talk Talk Talk in September 2022.
