The Sound Reasons Tickets

The Sound Reasons are stunning audiences of all ages with their unique form of thunderous, hip-shaking, guitar-jangling, fuzzed out 60’s garage rock. Their soulful style of rock and roll pays homage to garage bands of 1965-1967 (The Sonics, The Seeds, The Pretty Things), a lawless period of music that was simultaneously universal and regional. Music novices think it’s surf music. Some call it frat rock. Those in the know consider it God’s gift to the masses.

“It’s all about having funny haircuts and wearing Beatle boots!” says founder and lead singer Sumiji Takahashi. The members of The Sound Reasons represent some of the best players in the Los Angeles garage scene (The Night Times, The Wyld Gooms, The Unclaimed, The Wyldewood Green) giving the band an all-star quality. The mandate is to hand forge an authentic and unadulterated sound with no artificial ingredients. It’s about getting it tight, right and out of sight. With recent releases on Rogue Records and Outro Records, the band aims to bring their high energy shows to the four corners of the earth.
