TOUCHE AMORE IN CONCERT:
The venue lights dim, a few innocent notes on the guitar ring out, an impromptu joke from lead singer Jeremy Bolm elicits a laugh from the crowd, and then: complete and utter mayhem breaks out. Within seconds of kicking off their set, post-hardcore heroes Touche Amore have whipped the crowd into a frenzy of epic proportions, tearing through blistering songs like "Pathfinder" and "Home Away from Here" as a parade of stage diving concertgoers fly through the air. It's a spectacle that has to be seen to be believed -- good thing ticket buyers can witness the pandemonium first-hand on the band's can't-miss tours.
BACKGROUND SNAPSHOT:
Touche Amore formed in Burbank, CA, in 2007 and quickly made a name for themselves with a 7" demo and scorching live shows performed up and down the California coast. They released their debut album ...To the Beat of a Dead Horse in 2009, receiving praise from critics for their screamo revival sound and landing on numerous year-end lists. After extensive touring the band released their 2011 sophomore album to another round of critical acclaim, earning themselves spots on tour with hardcore mainstays like Rise Against and Give Up the Ghost. Their third album Is Survived By arrived in 2013 -- another impressive slice of post-hardcore anthems like "Just Exist" that received a 98% from Absolute Punk. Beloved for their high-octane live shows, Touche Amore continue to bring the ruckus on tour.
