My 27th U2 concert was incredible in my hometown!
I have been a U2 fan since the mid 80's and have seen them perform all over, but this performance in my hometown of Tulsa was extra special! The BOK Center was more than kind to all of the U2 fans that lined up days before the show and the band actually bought pizza's for all the fans that were standing in the GA line! The concert was spectacular and memorable and I'm looking forward to seeing the band again on this tour!

Meh
Very impressive set up but the concert relied heavily on the tech for its interest and energy. The show was pretty political and played so much of their new music. I would have loved a few more of the songs that made them famous. It was also difficult to understand them when they were talking and not singing. The sound was pretty marled. I went to the JT concert at the same venue just a few days later and could hear every word he said from our terrible seats.

Great show, I enjoyed the rarities and there were a lot of exciting visuals. I had a general admission ticket and there was a lot of front rail space because the stage is so long. The new songs sound amazing and this was my favorite U2 show that I’ve seen so far. U2 fans are the best and most of the people you will meet in the crowd are friendly and laid back. The staff at the BOK Center were also very nice and helpful and there are a lot of hotels and restaurants within walking distance of the venue so you don’t have to worry about driving in a traffic jam when the show is over or finding a parking space if you see a show here.

80 ft screen was awesome
U2 was a very good concert with a nice selection of old songs and new ones. The 80 ft double sided screen really added entertainment value

U2 - Excellent Arena Show!!!
U2 returned to an arena show format very similar in layout to their previous arena tour....having played stadiums in most recent tours. It is a great setup with a long walkway from end to end of the arena and stages on both ends of the walkway. The band moves about much of the show. The video display on the walkway is brilliant with plenty of messages included. The Tulsa show at the beautiful BOK Center arena was the opening night of this tour.....the first time U2 has played in Tulsa in 35 years. Naturally it was a very exciting event for the city of Tulsa that welcomed U2. Fans, like me, flew in from all over the country and world for the tour opener. U2 did not let anyone down....playing songs from their most recent album and many fan favorites from past albums. BONO was full of himself throughout the show....with a terrific interactive performance....and in good voice. He delivered a few messages which would be expected...and some new technology using the U2 app and the display screen provided some cool images. I believe the band played about 27 songs and thrilled the packed house. I'm a big U2 fan and this was one of my favorite U2 shows of the many I have seen. I highly recommend finding a city where they will play and go to the show. You will not be disappointed, I assure you.

eiTour Opening Night
This was my third time seeing U2 and my first time actually visiting Tulsa. Both were great! I live in Texas, but not in a major city so travel to see them is always inevitable. I wanted to go to my hometown, St. Louis, but they were cancelled last September and was afraid there same might happen given the current climate there. I'm glad I chose Tulsa. Despite the sketchy weather (it is Oklahoma in May, after all), it was a great experience. I met some great people in line. The show itself was awesome,b although the sound inside the BOK was...odd. Don't know why that was. The setlist was a pleasant surprise. They did nothing from Joshua Tree or No Line on the Horizon. Many people around disappointed not to be able to hear the old staples like WOWY and Streets, but they literally just did a whole tour for that album. It was mainly songs for Experience, Innocence, and some tracks that they rarely play live. If they do another let, I'll definitely go again.

U2 was outstanding!
Best concert I have ever been to! Uplifting and inspiring words with holographic type displays that Bono became a part of! The way he brought you into his life story was breathtaking. Incredible!!!
Few bands in rock music history have reached the level of superstardom (and have maintained the staying power) of Dublin-based band U2. Due to a winning combination of innovative, ever-evolving songwriting, spectacular live shows, and front-man Bono's penchant for political/humanitarian endeavors, U2 have managed to remain an A-list act since emerging onto the music scene with their debut album Boy in 1980. With phenomenal album sales (every album they've released since 1987's The Joshua Tree has hit Billboard's number one spot), a plethora of hit singles ("New Years Day, " "Sunday Bloody Sunday," "Pride," "I Still haven't Found What I'm looking For," "With or Without You," "Mysterious Ways," Beautiful Day," -- and the list goes on) U2 have established themselves as the premier rock band of the 1980s and far beyond. Their sound has evolved from post-punk (guitarist The Edge created a signature sound with his sweeping, delay-heavy guitar work), to arena rock, to blues-inspired rock, to electronic/techno pop and back again. With their 2005 release, How to Dismantle an Atomic Bomb, U2 treat fans to sounds both classic and new-- reminding us exactly why these Dubliners have managed to become one of the most successful bands in rock history.
