Imma feelin ma age
I bought these tickets after a health scare. It seemed like it was meant when the concert was literally 15 min. away from home. The ticket cost made my eyeballs go in and out, but--hey!--U2! So you need to know that I'm old (67) and I don't go to concerts very often. U2 is the first time I'd gone to a concert that I was interested in. I have two complaints. One is that the concert started 45 minutes late. (And I, being a codger, showed up two hours early and stood in line. The second issue I had was the volume. My daughter saved my life with her little baggie of foam earplugs. A woman 3 seats down from me spent the whole show with her fingers in her ears. The woman next to me (she was 66) spent the whole show bouncing and adding to the din. I was literally between two extremes. All that said (get off my lawn!), the show was incredible. The pyrotechnics (not literally) were so awesome and the performances beyond that. We had outstanding seats (1st row upper tier) for everything. The musicians worked their butts off--all of them so amazing and the crowd was with them all the way. I wish that the volume and the more piercing notes hadn't been a problem for me and that the earplugs hadn't served to muffle things a little. It must have been so intense to see these guys when they first began playing together in smaller venues without all the brouhaha. One thing that particularly impressed me was Bono's way with the crowd. Given his known political stance and the delicate state of US sensibilities, the band walked a fine line with great sensitivity and tact on the eve of Independence Day 2018, balancing critical observations with acknowledgement of the positive. I left feeling energized and with a strong sense of my country's potential to still do good in the world. All in all, U2 gives great concert, and it was well worth the time, money and aural pain. In a word, awesome!

U2
Despite the emails and notices about starting at 8pm sharp/ came on 45 mins late, played to the people on the floor- audio was poor in the nose bleeds - could not make out anything bono was saying -

U2 was ok
I may be in the minority but I didn't buy tickets to see U2 so I could hear their new music. They could have played some of their older stuff and made this a really good show. Most of the crowd did not know any of the new stuff they played.

U2 needs to tell time
jAll the money this band has and they can't afford a watch !!!! Every single time I have seen them they never come out on time. They didn't take the stage until 8:45. Out of 24 songs they played, 10 were from Innocence/Experience. The stage show was unbelievable though. They played much too loud.

Although the group U2 was excellent the acoustics were awful! Sound was muffled and impossible to hear at least behind the stage.

U2 - Amazing Show
This is only my second time seeing U2. The first time was their original tour and was in a small Boston nightclub called The Channel! I was pushed up against the stage. Need I say more? On July 3rd at Mohegan Sun I witnessed probably the BEST stage show ever! I’ve been to hundreds of concert through the years. Thank You U2! Can’t wait until your next tour! These artist are a MUST SEE!
Few bands in rock music history have reached the level of superstardom (and have maintained the staying power) of Dublin-based band U2. Due to a winning combination of innovative, ever-evolving songwriting, spectacular live shows, and front-man Bono's penchant for political/humanitarian endeavors, U2 have managed to remain an A-list act since emerging onto the music scene with their debut album Boy in 1980. With phenomenal album sales (every album they've released since 1987's The Joshua Tree has hit Billboard's number one spot), a plethora of hit singles ("New Years Day, " "Sunday Bloody Sunday," "Pride," "I Still haven't Found What I'm looking For," "With or Without You," "Mysterious Ways," Beautiful Day," -- and the list goes on) U2 have established themselves as the premier rock band of the 1980s and far beyond. Their sound has evolved from post-punk (guitarist The Edge created a signature sound with his sweeping, delay-heavy guitar work), to arena rock, to blues-inspired rock, to electronic/techno pop and back again. With their 2005 release, How to Dismantle an Atomic Bomb, U2 treat fans to sounds both classic and new-- reminding us exactly why these Dubliners have managed to become one of the most successful bands in rock history.
