Great Show
Although I didn't hear some of the classic U2 songs that I wanted to hear, the show was absolutely amazing. Incredible design and the messages throughout were powerful and needed. A great band.

U2 another successful tour
Excellent coranography, visual&sound exceptional. Positioning themselves around the arena added a nice dimension to to already explicit showmanship. The down side was they could have used the time wasted by Bono's. Political anthics to have added a couple more songs to the already excellent set list .

U2 Masterful but not Powerful
I've seen U2 many times over the years, and always walked away with a sense of 'wow'. That's a high bar, but Sunday night's performance at the Garden fell a bit short. The 'we've matured through experience' narrative never came together and the musical momentum never rolled, let alone build to an escape velocity that propelled me out of the arena energized and inspired. What energy there was dissipated during the encore as Bono walked out in the darkness and the remaining band members waved from the darkened stage, perhaps without a sense of completion themselves. Bono sounded terrific, Edge was immersed and awesome, and Adam and Larry showed their mastery. They clearly didn't mail it in. . .but the parts never came together to a crescendo.

U2 at MSG 6/26/18
Fantastic show, 4 musicians by themselves cranking out 2.5 hours of fantastic tunes.

We went to see U2 last Sunday night. It was a great show like they always put on and the MSG arena is second to none
Few bands in rock music history have reached the level of superstardom (and have maintained the staying power) of Dublin-based band U2. Due to a winning combination of innovative, ever-evolving songwriting, spectacular live shows, and front-man Bono's penchant for political/humanitarian endeavors, U2 have managed to remain an A-list act since emerging onto the music scene with their debut album Boy in 1980. With phenomenal album sales (every album they've released since 1987's The Joshua Tree has hit Billboard's number one spot), a plethora of hit singles ("New Years Day, " "Sunday Bloody Sunday," "Pride," "I Still haven't Found What I'm looking For," "With or Without You," "Mysterious Ways," Beautiful Day," -- and the list goes on) U2 have established themselves as the premier rock band of the 1980s and far beyond. Their sound has evolved from post-punk (guitarist The Edge created a signature sound with his sweeping, delay-heavy guitar work), to arena rock, to blues-inspired rock, to electronic/techno pop and back again. With their 2005 release, How to Dismantle an Atomic Bomb, U2 treat fans to sounds both classic and new-- reminding us exactly why these Dubliners have managed to become one of the most successful bands in rock history.
