The Virginia Commonwealth Rams baseball team is a varsity intercollegiate athletic team of Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, Virginia. The team, which wears black and gold uniforms, competes in the Atlantic 10 Conference, one of the premier conferences in college baseball.
The Rams play their home games at The Diamond, which is located on the university's campus in Richmond. The Diamond has a capacity of 9,500 and has been the home of the Rams since 1985. The stadium is located on Arthur Ashe Boulevard, named after Arthur Ashe, a tennis great who was born in the area.
The Rams have a rich history in college baseball. They have won three regular season conference championships, in 2017, 2019 and 2023. The Rams have also made over a dozen appearances in the NCAA Tournament, with the majority occurring after the turn of the century.
