BACKGROUND SNAPSHOT:
Warbringer was formed in Newbury Park, CA in 2004 by a group of high school friends. The following year they recorded the demo EP Born of the Ruins, a self-financed affair they passed out for free at local shows. As their reputation grew by word of mouth, backyard shows gave way to gigs on the Sunset Strip, and in 2007 they signed with metal label Century Media. They made their debut on the label in 2008 with War Without End, a critical success that led to their first national tour opening for Exodus. Their rise continued with 2009 sophomore album Waking into Nightmares, which peaked at No. 14 on the Billboard Heatseeker chart and launched extensive touring in support of bands like Soilwork, Kreator, Evile, and Pestilence. Despite several lineup changes Warbringer released World’s Torn Asunder in 2011 and IV: Empires Collapse in 2013, and they continue to electrify with their decibel-shattering sound and epic live performances every time they tour.
