Color Me Badd formed in Oklahoma City in the late ‘80s while its four members were still in high school. After relocating to New York City the quartet became an overnight sensation when their debut single “I Wanna Sex You Up” was featured in the hit film New Jack City and subsequently topped the R&B charts. Their rise continued with follow-up singles “I Adore Mi Amor” and “All 4 Love”, two No. 1 pop hits that helped their debut album C.M.B reach triple-platinum sales. Their sophomore album Time and Chance went platinum as well, spawning popular singles like “Choose” and “The Bells”. Color Me Badd continued to land singles on the charts with two more albums released in the late ‘90s, but in 2000 the band called it quits. They got back together in 2011, thrilling fan with a reunion tour and the announcement of a return to the studio. Since then they’ve continued to keep fans guessing, delivering pitch-perfect performances on tour while working on their highly anticipated new album.
